Karina Smirnoff

Karina Smirnova  was born  in Kharkiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union on January 2, 1978. When Karina Smirnoff was five years old, Karina Smirnoff began taking ballet lessons, followed by gymnastics, aerobics, figure skating, ballroom dancing and piano.Karina Smirnoff chose to pursue ballroom dancing. In 1992, Smirnoff emigrated to the United States, and is reportedly a naturalized United States citizen.

Smirnoff was a performer on the third season of the ABC series Dancing with the Stars with celebrity partner Mario López. They finished in second place, losing to the team of Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke. Smirnoff returned to the show on March 19, 2007 for Season 4, this time partnered with Billy Ray Cyrus, country singer and Hannah Montana star.The pair was the eighth to be eliminated from the competition on May 8, 2007. Karina Smirnoff partner for Season 5 of the show was current five-division world champion boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. On October 16, 2007, Karina and Floyd were the fourth couple eliminated from competition and came in 9th place. She returned for Season 6, partnered with singer Mario and finished in 5th place. In Season 7, she was partnered with chef Rocco DiSpirito and they were the fourth pair to be eliminated with a finish of 9th place for the second time.

Pippa Middleton

Philippa Charlotte “Pippa” Middleton was born in 6 September 1983, the second of the three children of Michael Middleton, who was then a British Airways flight dispatcher, and Carole Goldsmith, who was a former flight attendant. Pippa Middleton father’s family came from Leeds, West Yorkshire, and one of her great-grandmothers, called Olivia Lupton, belonged to a business family active in Leeds for generations.Carole Middleton’s mother’s family were labourers and miners from County Durham.The third child of the family is James Middleton (born 1987), who is now a businessman.

Sienna Miller

Sienna Rose Miller (born December 28, 1981)  in New York City, Miller and her family moved to London when Sienna Miller was just over a year old.  Sienna Miller father, Edwin Miller, is an American banker turned dealer of Chinese art. Miller has a sister, Savannah, two half-brothers, Charles and Stephen, and a stepsister, Natasha Corrett (the daughter of her father’s second wife, Kelly Hoppen). Miller attended Heathfield St Mary’s School, a boarding school in Ascot, Berkshire, and later studied for a year at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City. Sienna Miller carries both British and American passports, and acquired her first driving licence in the U.S. Virgin Islands, since it was easy to qualify, which allowed her to drive in both the U.S. and UK

Sienna Miller has settled her claim against the tabloid News of the World in a phone hacking case and will receive 100,000 pounds in compensation.

Reuters reports that Miller — star of “Factory Girl,” “Alfie” and a lengthy, rocky relationship with Jude Law — also was granted an injunction that will prevent further illegal access to her voicemails and publication of personal information.

Miller is one of several high-profile individuals who have pursued lawsuits — including Law, who filed a test case — against News Group Newspapers, the News International subsidiary that owns News of the World, for hacking into their phones and using information obtained from personal voice mails in published articles.

According to the Financial Times, Miller changed her cell phone number three times in three months when she became concerned that someone was tapping into her phone. Articles containing private information about Miller that was allegedly obtained via hacking were published in the News of the World back in 2005 and 2006.

Scotland Yard is currently investigating the phone hacking case, which has grown wide in scope and will likely involve compensation being paid to additional people, including Miller’s stepmother, interior designer Kelly Hoppen.

As the Guardian notes, Rupert Murdoch’s News International recently issued a public apology that acknowledged phone hacking is a rampant problem at the News of the World, as opposed to bad behavior committed by one reporter as the company originally claimed.

“Past behaviour at the News of the World in relation to voicemail interception is a matter of genuine regret,” the statement said. “It is now apparent that our previous inquiries failed to uncover important evidence and we acknowledge our actions then were not sufficiently robust.”

Katy Perry

Katy Perry (October 25, 1984)  was born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson in Santa Barbara, California  to Keith, a West Coast scenester in the 1960s, and Mary Hudson (née Perry), an evangelist who grew up in Southern California and had “a tempestuous first marriage in Zimbabwe”.Perry has German, Portuguese, Irish, and English ancestry.Katy Perry is the second child of two pastors. Katy Perry has an older sister and younger brother.Perry’s mother’s aunt and uncle were screenwriter Eleanor Perry and director Frank Perry.

Perry dated Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy, whom she met in a recording studio in New York,on and off for several years. Perry and McCoy broke up in December 2008.

Perry first met British comedian Russell Brand in the summer of 2008  when Perry filmed a cameo appearance for Brand’s film Get Him to the Greek. Perry and Brand began dating after meeting again in September 2009at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Brand, as host, remarked, “Katy Perry didn’t win an award and she’s staying at the same hotel as me, so she’s gonna need a shoulder to cry on. So in a way, I’m the real winner tonight.” The couple became engaged in December 2009 while vacationing in India.In a July 2010 YouTube interview, Perry said Brand would be a “perfect” father.Perry stated that she plans to take dual British citizenship after marrying Brand. “One of the first things I’ll do is apply for dual citizenship. I’m not too sure if I have to take a test as I’ve not had time to look into it. But England is like my second home”.Perry and Brand married on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan, India, the same location where Brand had proposed.
