Comedian Tracy Morgan plans to return to Nashville next week to apologize to audience members who were offended by an anti-gay rant during a stand-up show on June 3. During the performance, the “30 Rock” actor told the audience that if his son were gay, he would “pull out a knife and stab” him. Morgan already has issued a public apology, saying he went too far, even for a comedy show. On Tuesday, Morgan publicist Nicole Chabot confirmed that Morgan agreed to the Nashville meeting at the request of Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation President Jarrett Barrios. Morgan also agreed to meet with gay and lesbian youth in New York City this week. And he will participate in a GLAAD public service campaign to combat anti-gay bullying. Continue reading

Famous actor Nicolas Cage is undergoing a legal challenge from ex-wife, it relates about the house that the claim by Christina Fulton. The judge ruled Tuesday that Fulton couldn’t sue Cage for breaching an oral contract to transfer ownership of the Los Angeles house to the former actress, saying the claim was barred by a statute of limitations. The issue of ownership of the house was one of Fulton’s main claims against Cage, although she is still pursuing negligence claims against the actor that he and his former business manager ruined her finances by obtaining credit in her name. Screen star George Takei (”Star Trek,” “Heroes”) may soon be seen on Broadway. Takei is scheduled to star with Tony Award winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables) in the new musical Allegiance, which is aiming for a Broadway bow in 2012.

Allegiance is described as “a new musical about love, loss and heroism in the backdrop of the Japanese American internment.”

On his way to opening, Takei brings fans his original web series “The Road to Broadway.” In his first episode, George Hosato Takei explains that he is impatiently awaiting his Broadway bow and thinks that he should be considered for the cast of Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. Since Spider-Man will soon make its official Broadway debut—without Takei in the leading role—he tries his luck at Broadway’s Sister Act.

Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tennessee, January 31, 1981, the son of Lynn Harless (née Bomar) and Randall Timberlake.Timberlake is of English descent, and has also claimed unconfirmed Native American ancestry.Justin Timberlake paternal grandfather, Charles L. Timberlake, was a Baptist minister, and Timberlake was raised Baptist, though now considers himself more “spiritual than religious”.

Timberlake’s parents divorced in 1985, and both have remarried. His mother, who now runs an entertainment company called Just-in Time Entertainment, remarried to Paul Harless, a banker, when her son was five. His father, a choir director at a Baptist church, has two children, Jonathan (born c. 1993) and Steven Robert (born August 14, 1998), from his second marriage to Lisa Perry. Timberlake’s half-sister, Laura Katherine, died shortly after birth on May 14, 1997, and is mentioned in his acknowledgments in the album *NSYNC as “My Angel in Heaven.” Timberlake grew up in Shelby Forest, a middle class suburb between Memphis and Millington. Morgan Freeman was born in Memphis, Tennessee, June 1, 1937.   the son of Mayme Edna (née Revere) and Morgan Porterfield Freeman, Sr., a barber who died in 1961 from cirrhosis. Morgan Freeman has three older siblings. Freeman was sent as an infant to his paternal grandmother in Charleston, Mississippi. Morgan Freeman family moved frequently during his childhood, living in Greenwood, Mississippi; Gary, Indiana; and finally Chicago, Illinois. Freeman made his acting debut at age 9, playing the lead role in a school play. He then attended Broad Street High School, currently Threadgill Elementary School, in Mississippi. At age 12, he won a statewide drama competition, and while still at Broad Street High School, he performed in a radio show based in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1955, Morgan Freeman graduated from Broad Street, but turned down a partial drama scholarship from Jackson State University, opting instead to work as a mechanic in the United States Air Force.

Freeman moved to Los Angeles in the early 1960s and worked as a transcript clerk at Los Angeles Community College. During this period, he also lived in New York City, working as a dancer at the 1964 World’s Fair, and in San Francisco, where he was a member of the Opera Ring music group. Freeman acted in a touring company version of The Royal Hunt of the Sun, and also appeared as an extra in the 1965 film The Pawnbroker. He made his off-Broadway debut in 1967, opposite Viveca Lindfors in The Nigger Lovers (about the civil rights era “Freedom Riders”), before debuting on Broadway in 1968’s all-black version of Hello, Dolly!, which also starred Pearl Bailey and Cab Calloway.

Ray Romano mother, Lucie (born 1929), was a piano teacher, and Ray Romano father, Albert Romano (1926 – March 2010), was a real estate agent and an engineer. Ray Romano has a brother, Richard A. Romano. Ray Romano grew up in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens. Romano attended elementary and middle school at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Forest Hills. After transferring from Archbishop Molloy High School, Romano graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1975.   Ray Romano was in the same high school class as Fran Drescher and later appeared on Drescher’s sitcom The Nanny as an old classmate. Before breaking into show business, Romano briefly attended Queens College, in Flushing, New York, where he studied accounting. Romano quit after gaining only 15 credits in three years. However, he would later return, making it to the Dean’s List for three years.
