Rihanna

Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born February 20, 1988), better known as simply Rihanna is an R&B recording artist. Born in Saint Michael, Barbados, Rihanna moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue a recording career under the guidance of record producer Evan Rogers. Rihanna subsequently signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for then-label head Jay-Z.

In 2005, Rihanna released her debut studio album, Music of the Sun, which peaked in the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart and features the Billboard Hot 100 hit single “Pon de Replay.” Less than a year later, Rihanna released her second studio album, A Girl Like Me (2006), which peaked within the top five of the Billboard albums chart, and produced her first US number one single, “SOS”, as well as the top 10 singles “Unfaithful” and “Break It Off”. Rihanna’s third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007), which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200, featured five top ten hits including three US number one hit singles—”Umbrella”, “Take a Bow” and “Disturbia”—and the worldwide hit “Don’t Stop the Music”. The album was nominated for nine Grammy Awards, winning Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Umbrella,” which features Jay-Z. Rihanna fourth studio album, Rated R (2009), peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. Its first three singles, “Russian Roulette”, “Hard” and “Rude Boy” peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, while “Rude Boy” peaked at number one. Anne Hathaway

Hathaway was born in Brooklyn, New York.  Anne Hathaway father, Gerald Thomas Hathaway, is a lawyer, and  Anne Hathaway mother, Kathleen Ann (née McCauley), is an actress who inspired Hathaway to follow in her footsteps. The family moved to Millburn, New Jersey when she was six years old.Hathaway has an older brother, Michael, and a younger brother, Thomas.  Anne Hathaway is of mostly Irish and French ancestry, with distant Native American and German roots.

Hathaway was raised Catholic with what she considered “really strong values,” and has stated she wanted to be a nun during her childhood. However,  Anne Hathaway decided against it at the age of 15, after learning her brother, Michael, was gay;  Anne Hathaway felt she could not be part of a religion that condemned her brother’s sexual orientation.In 2009, Hathaway described herself as a non-denominational Christian because she had not “found the religion” for her, and later stated that her religious beliefs are “a work in progress”.

Eliza Dushku

Dushku was born in Watertown, Massachusetts, the daughter of Philip R. Dushku, an administrator and teacher in the Boston Public Schools, and Judith “Judy”, a political science professor. Dushku’s father is Albanian and her mother is of Danish and English descent.Dushku attended Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, and graduated from Watertown High School. Eliza Dushku was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the faith of her mother, though she is not practicing. Eliza Dushku has three older brothers: Aaron, Benjamin (Ben), and Nathaniel (Nate). Her parents divorced when she was an infant. In 2006, Eliza Dushku visited her father’s family in Albania after an invitation from the Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha. Eliza Dushku visited Kosovo and got an Albanian Eagle tattoo on the back of her neck.

Dushku came to the attention of casting agents when Eliza Dushku was 10. Eliza Dushku was chosen in a five month search for the lead role of Alice in the film That Night. In 1993, Dushku landed a role as Pearl alongside Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in This Boy’s Life, a role that she said opened a lot of doors. The following year, Eliza Dushku played the teenage daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies. Eliza Dushku had parts as Paul Reiser’s daughter in Bye Bye Love, as Cindy Johnson in Race the Sun, and roles in a television movie and a short film. Continue reading

Jessica Claire Biel

Jessica Claire Biel was born in Ely, Minnesota. Her mother, Kimberly (née Conroe), is a homemaker and spiritual healer. Jessica Claire Biel father, Jonathan Biel, worked for GE and was also an entrepreneur and business consultant. Jessica Claire Biel is of German, French, English, and Choctaw ancestry[5] and has a younger brother, Justin, born in 1985. Biel’s family moved frequently during  Jessica Claire Biel childhood, living in Texas, Connecticut, and Woodstock, Illinois, before finally settling in Boulder, Colorado. While growing up, Biel played soccer  and also trained as a gymnast. Jessica Claire Biel is also an avid snowboarder. From 2000 to 2002, Jessica Claire Biel attended Tufts University. Biel initially trained to be a vocalist, and from age nine appeared in several musical productions in her hometown, playing lead roles in productions such as Annie, The Sound of Music, and Beauty and the Beast. At twelve, Biel attended The International Modeling and Talent Association conference in Los Angeles where Jessica Claire Biel was discovered and signed by a talent agency. Jessica Claire Biel began modeling for print advertisements, and appeared in commercials for products such as Dulux Paint and Pringles. Biel also played the character Regrettal, a lead role in a low-budget musical short titled It’s a Digital World, but the film was never released. At fourteen, after auditioning for several television pilots, Biel was cast as Mary Camden, the oldest daughter in the family drama 7th Heaven. The show ran 11 seasons, making it the longest-running family drama in U.S. television history.
